I can totally see how someone might have scored Campbell-Funika against Funegga, but there's no excusing this robbery and CRIME against Funogginoggiopatangweo-ow.
On a random note, I love that Barrera gif in your sig, Addie. I was watching it in slow motion, and it's beautiful, the way he goes to the head, letting the guy raise his guard, and then unleashes to the body with that ace, compact hook. Then when the guy's guard moves back down, he suddenly goes back to the head with that wickedly fast combo. Very sharp.
I watched half the fight via a live stream that, in conjunction with my old slow computer, barely displayed smoothly half the time. I had to go to work and figured by what I saw that Funeka had it in the bag. He bloodied and neutered Guzman masterfully behind that stiff jab and sharp straight right at a distance. Joan simply could not effectively get in without eating shots...and he even ate shots in the one place that was supposed to be his domain: inside! I shook my head in disbelief when I checked the result on a computer at work. I knew there was no miracle by which Guzman ate his spinach and turned the fight around to even warrant a draw. I just knew there was a major screwing that took place without not a drop of **** in any form anywhere in sight.
Coming from a biased Guzman fan, my score was 116-112....still no where near a draw....I was shocked. I have to rewatch and see what could justify a draw...

If he landed that combo on a lesser fighter, it would have been all over...and you would have seen the gif all over the place if it finished a fight.
yea it's up there with the casamayor-santa cruz type of robbery. Guzman was clearly losing the fight and got hurt a couple of times. So much for all the guzrun is the floyd of the lower weight division talk
Sickening. Just feel bad for Funeka. But people have eyes. They know who won. Funeka will get more big fights.
No it's not, no matter which one of you favorite fighters loses (this applies to everyone) Martinez/Cintron will always be the biggest robbery ever.
This was one of the worst! I just hope this dosn't discorouge Ali from fighting. He'll give any of the top guys hell.
Yeah i was really impressed with him, i can't believe someone so big can still make Lightweight..kinda like the Paul Williams of the division.
