Guzman is P4P number two just below Joe Calzaghe.

He makes world class boxers look awful like only a handful of others around today.

I agree...I think that Joan Guzman is the most gifted of all young fighters and he has the potential to beat anyone in the surrounding weight classes if he stays healthy

Quality of quantity, and greatness over being exciting.

two of the most dangerous fighters at 130 are jmm and pac. i don't think guz will get to fight them though. he is high risk low reward. does not have enough fans to be a ppv draw. his style does not help his cause either

lol what? guz will def get a shot at pac or jmm soon enough. and what is wrong with his style? he's so fast, good counterpuncher, and throws combos. he's like a more exciting mayweather.

JMM MAYBE......but not if Pacquiao wins. He has already made it clear he is moving up.

yeah pacqiou will run up and probably get outmanned. i can't imagine him beating some of the bigger guys. pacqiou relies a lot on his strength and i can't see him doing well.

Soto and Barrios are not the most dangerous fighters at 130 (I think Pacquiao and Marquez are more dangerous), but they are dangerous and tough as nails. Guzman performed very well in both fights and clearly won them.

He is ready for the winner of Pacquiao/Marquez and I really hope they agree to fight him. I'd take Guzman over both...

How was Barrios anymore dangerous at 130? He neutralized Soto easily. I'm guessin' he'd do the same to Pacman. For Guzman, I really think Marquez is the most dangerous for him.
