For what its worth Micheal Brodie an excellent picker - who has sparred with Guzman reckons Guzman will be handily winning.

How to lose all credability as a poster in 1 short sentence!

Dunky, I think that clown has summed up his knowledge there, and as such I suggest you refrain from attempting reasoned debate with this moron!

As i stated previously, I fancy Alex to use his size, strength and determination to frustrate and grind down Guzman in 7! I would not however state that anything other than my opinion is 'impossible' unlike the said muppet 'huki.'

As a side note, I reckon that hiki will be a fan of one of the 'big 4' ; has not seen Guzman fight (ie his basis of how good Guzman is is derived from other posters and youtube clips) ; and thought Hatton would beat Mayweather (and still contests that the only reason he lost was Cortez).

I know I am getting a bit personal, but Huki is the epitome of all that is wrong with this forum!

 Do I even need to reply to this?

It's not impossible, but it's less than a 1% chance. If you care to know, I've seen a total of 10 full Guzman fights that I have on DVD at least three times each and if you want to go back and check, you'll see that I picked Mayweather TKO10 Hatton back in December.

What the **** are you talking about? :D If you want to talk about losing credibility, then don't say that Arthur will stop Guzman in the same post. You have zero "credibility" after stating that prediction and you know nothing about boxing. Guzman TKO3 Arthur. I can't wait to come back here after the fight..

hey, huki...I agree with you that Guzman is the big favourite, but I always think you are exaggerating your percentages...

    1%???

I bet the chance of a lucky KO punch landing at least once in 100 fights is greater than 1, at this level, where both fighters are world class.

Surely, the minimum chance any fighter of this calibre has is at least 5%...taking cuts and everything else into consideration.

    Surely!:huh

Im not backing out of anything, I just simply think you are all bravado, no poster would wear an avatar of of someone elses choice for long, especially for 'life' whatever that means. You know it, I know it.
But I will humour you. OK then, you have a deal. However, I would much prefer just to have the last laugh than tell you wht avatar to wear for the 'rest of yur life'(as if you will do that anyway, you must think my big scottish head buttons up the back)

Just make sure you come in & take your medicine when Arthur wins. Avatars shmavatars, I want to see you in here when Arthur has Guzmans shiny title around his waist.

Finzwinz, thus Haki guy is just what the doctor ordered:smoke I hve been on the look out for a vocal Guzman fan, but all the debate has been pretty much the same "I like Arthur, hes ok But Guzman will win" thats fair enough from the fine posters here who have been saying that I suppose, but I wanted a real Guzman nuthugger to slay, & its like Hiki just fell out of the sky into my big scottish lap:D

Its fate I tell you Finzwinz mate. First I predicted Arthur to win with a left hook to the body, & then my good man Hook had a dream that Arthur finished Guzman off with a left hook, & you have just given me the round AAA wil do it in:good

Alex Arthur to beat Guzman by KO in the 7th round, left hook to be the finisher punch.
Its written in the stars my good man, we ESB scots know something is in the air. A major upset is on the cards. & this Hoki guy was like a gift from the gods, a Guzman nuthugger arriving just in time for us to ****in slaughter him when his boy gets KTFO:happy Its all falling into place so perfectly, its spooky.

Its gonna be a good time here when Arthur wins, In fact, Im going to throw a Brit ESB party thread when Alex Arthur explodes they myth that is Joan Guzman. & everyone is welcome of course:thumbsup Everyone ready for a party? & the drinks are on me of course!

If anything, I'm being too nice to Arthur. It's ridiculous that there are a number of people on this forum who think Arthur has a good chance of winning. One guy is a weak chinned lower B level fighter (at best) and the other is an A+ level top 5 P4P H2H fighter with an iron chin. 5%? So you're saying if they fought 20 times Arthur would win once? I highly doubt that. Take a look at 100 situations like Arthur-Guzman and you'll see. When was the last time an upset like Arthur beating Guzman happened? How many situations like Guzman-Arthur have there been since that happened? It's less than a 1% chance.

Arthur KO'ing Guzman with a lucky punch would be one the biggest upsets in the history of boxing. Have you seen Arthur fight before? He's barely "world class", he's a top domestic fighter who's very fortunate to have a bull**** interim world title. He was stopped by Gomez early and went life and death with Stephen Foster in his last fight. Guzman is going to blow him out. Guzman's previous opponents like Jauregui and Jaendang would probably beat Arthur too, I don't even need to mention Soto and Barrios. 1% is the realistic chance, I don't think 5% is.

I could swear on anything that I will honor the bet and wear any avatar you choose for the rest of my time here on this forum. Hopefully you will honor your bet too if you lose. Man.. you're in for a big surprise.

Thats right, you concentrate on Arthurs negative performances. He lost to Gomez as a prospect years ago, & Foster jnr caught him & put him down. Therefore Arthur is rubbish & stands no chance, right?

    WRONG.

Like my cronie Finzwinz says, your predictable. You know **** all about Arthur, you have just read up on his one defeat, heard Foster Jnr put him down & decided Guzman cant lose, cos hes so great in your world. Me in for a shock? Your world is about to implode on you in a months time. Your backing the hot favourite, but Im not so bad at predicting fights myself here. You are in my territory now, this aint no general forum debate. Me & my scottish pals here are going to have a field day with you when Arthur wins. Its not to late for you to back down Heki, cos when Arthur wins you realise you are going to be a laughing stock here, dont you?

No need to apologize Terry, that was a fine post & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Guzman is a nightmare to fight, & I understand people saying Guzman will win. BUT(there was always going to be a BUT with me) Arthur has the tools to beat the utter tool that is Joan Guzman. Trust me on this one.

    It is a 100% chance.

All picks should be based on determinism.
