Guzman needs outside help to beat Alex Arthur?

The main problem i see with what your saying dunky is who has arthur beat that is as good as guzman especially by 7th round ko. I am not saying artuher has no chance but you saying he is going to win by ko is worse than anything the guzman fans have come up with.

• He is inferior to Guzman in every single way.
• He is going to be severely embarassed in front of his hometown fans from the very first minute and because of this fact he will make even more mistakes than he usually does.

Joan Guzman:

Pros:

• He is superior to Arthur in every single way.
• He will be fighting in front of a crowd without any Dominican or Latin supporters for the first time in a while, so he will be more inclined to end it and go home as fast as possible (and not let the Scottish fans view 12 rounds of his brilliance).

Cons:

• None

No jokes here, Arthur will be knocked out faster than anyone expects.

As you know (and is fairly obvious) I'm a big fan of Alex...but even I am doing what I can to stay neutral and view things in a sober light (thats not like me!). I certainly know of his abilities and flaws, but am certainly aware that he is stepping up to the plate with this one.

As for Huki...you are verging on ignorance and immaturity on this thread. As said, I've kept a distanced and balanced view on this, and have never said anything other than Alex being the underdog.

But you are being more than disrespectful to Alex and his abilities. You obviously haven't seen very much of Arthur (and I'm wondering if you've seen Guzman too?), but your comments are misguided and ill-informed.

Before you start going mental...I'll say again...I AGREE that Arthur is up against it (he has accepted this himself), but you are falling into the Guzman will win because of who he is mantra, rather than being objective to any degree.

I'm being 100% objective, Guzman is superior to Arthur in every single way. You can't argue with that fact.

However, your analysis of Arthur is clearly subjective. Good chin? Good chin for a domestic fighter, but certainly not a good chin for a world class level fighter. A "proven dig" at SFW? Going through hell to beat a C+ level fighter at best in Foster somehow prepares him for A+ level Guzman?
