Or instead for the right to face Campbell, the World LW Champ.

Something about that fight says snoozer....although I'd probably pay to see it.

why would a fight between 2 fighters moving up from Super Feather give them the right to fight the World LW Champ? Makes more sense to have them face the titleholder who also recently moved up from the same division.

The winner of Pac vs JMM/Guzman can then face the LW Champ.

Nah, the man to beat is CAMPBELL. @135 PAC won't have NATE's prestige.

yall are forgetting about katsidis vs casamayor. the winner could also be a real player in that division

Good call. I fully expect Katsidis to finish Casa as a top fighter in the division after that terrible performance.

I have to wonder if Guzman can carry enough power to keep guys honest at 135lbs. I know he is slick, but there happen to be a lot of good chinned, preasure fighters here and I'm not so sure he can maintain for twelve full rounds.

Yup, Campbell is aiming for the winner.

Read in a interview hes pulling for Casamayor because then the fight will defintely happen, a Katsidas win is doubtful because GBP doesnt want anything to do with Campbell ever since the Diaz fight.

Casa's style is a horrible thing for Katsidis to deal with and when you factor how dirty Casa is with his head and Katsidis' ability to bleed it is no certainty that Kat wins this one.

    I am certianly hoping so.

    Katsidis Pac would be AWESOME!

Casa looked spent in his last fight though. Did you see it?

This is a pretty good idea, but I would hate to see either of them lose. :-(

This is at least an 80/20 fight for Guzman IMO. JMM's style presents some problems for Guzman, but his workrate is low and Guzman is a much bigger stylistic problem for JMM. Marquez clearly won the John fight, but John's slick defensive style and speed gave JMM problems, so imagine what Guzman's style/speed/overall insane talent and iron chin will do.

One thing that's bad about this matchup is that if Guzman wins a mostly potshotting type of fight, people will cry about him being "boring" and not want to see him with Pac because of it.

My thoughts exactly; I would hate to see this fight made for that very reason.

I'd rather see Marquez face Barrios should he get past Juarez, Valero, and retire after a rematch with Chris John.
