Guzman wants to fight ricky hatton over lee beard split

Guzman is an overrated dud. Funeka beat him and Ricky Hatton would do the same. Sure Guzman would make Ricky look slow and open at times, but Guzman doesn't have the substance to match the style. Hatton would work him over down the stretch.

PS: Hatton of 2005 would brutalize Guzman with ease.

Seriously though Hatton wins in 12. Guzman's technical advantage has faded a lot with his reflexes.

 

Both arent half the fighters they once were but at 140 you have to favor Hatton.

 

Hatton would make Joan his *****.....yea...Joan is the more skilled fighter but he's like Paulie...too weak and not solid enough overall to beat a bigger man. Joan isn't a jr WW...he wuold get smacked around. Joan ain't that good. He's all Flash and little substance. His best win against Soto was less than impressive although he won....it just proved he isn't the next coming of Floyd Jr like everyone though....not even close.

Err yea, many people thought Pac would just dance around Hatton with his superior footspeed, but Hatton has one of the best footspeed in boxing too. The problem is, they underestimated Pac's power...this is a guy who put Cotto down. Even when Hatton did get to Pac, Pac just punished him. Hatton was never gonna beat him, not from the outside and not from the inside.

Now on the other hand, other fighters...even someone like Floyd, Hatton would absorb a punch to get inside and when he's inside, he has the advantage. This is why he had so much success against Paulie, Paulie can be the best outboxer in the world but when Hatton gets to him, he doesnt have the power to trouble him so Hatton does his work. Hatton will do the same to Guzman. If Hatton was to rematch PBF, the result would probably be similar to their first fight.

Hatton is no more shot today as he was for the Collazo fight. Styles makes fights but boxing fans are fickle. 1 loss their shot, 1 win their prime.

It would except for the fact that the size and strength of Ricky would allow him to walk through anything Joan offered in terms of offense. Paulie had the same problem. Technically he's better, but not good enough to beat a bigger man who is a very good Jr WW.

Hatton has some of the best footspeed in boxing?! That's one of the most ******ed things I've ever read on this forum.

In case you haven't seen the fight, Floyd raped Hatton on the inside after Ricky took punches to get in there.

And Paulie Malignaggi, on his very best form, is a long long way from being one of the best outboxers in the world.
