Guzman wants to fight ricky hatton over lee beard split

he had **** lateral movement. his footwork wasn't too bad, it also wasn't one of the best either, but with no lateral movement he was basically a come forward fighter who was an easy target to find.

 

Hatton's footwork was one of his best attributes, his problem was he never combined it with head movement, nor did he keep a tight guard. His gloves were always apart and often just below his chin so he could see better.

I think his offense is still there, but his reflexes are worse and his punch resistance seems to have gone. Not just based on the Pac fight (which was alarming, even David Diaz took shots better) but also the Lazcano fight, he also tired very badly in that fight. Seems like years of taking shots plus the bad life style have cost him, these types of fighter don't have a long career into their 30's.

Yeah his marathon against Soto was shitty but all within the rules.

He should have been disqualified for running. If it was amateur boxing, he would have been docked a point for refusing to engage. Total ***** move. There's movement, sticking and moving. That I can respect. Jabbing and then running like hell for the entire fight like Guzman, I DON'T respect that, and neither does anyone else, and that's why that ***** Guzman can't get a fight.

 

Show me where I criticized (or even commented on) Hatton's footwork? Show me the post. ****ing idiotic *****.

 

I have not criticized Hatton's footwork or his speed, but I reiterate that to say Hatton has some of the best footspeed in the game is laughable.
