I thought his last two big fights (Barrios, Soto) were very exciting. And Campbell is a tougher opponent for Guzman than those two fighters, who will most likely give him the hardest fight of his career. So, it should be a very exciting fight.
How was that exciting? Guzman took the last four rounds off, basically Mr.Bojangles dancing through those rounds.
So if Guzman wins, we lose. All the belts will be vacated and the unification starts again. Very unprofessional on his part and his handlers. He just came up from 130 so how in the hell is he overweight? So many great fights at 135 and he is going to blow it. Maybe he thought the fight was going to get canceled. Maybe he has doubts.
Can't blame you there, if Campbell loses all three titles will be vacant and the unification starts again. I'll be paying more attention to the Marquez/Casamayor card now.
So the first 8 rounds weren't exciting? And all 12 rounds of the Barrios fight weren't exciting? Personally, I love watching Guzman at all times, because his style, talent, flashiness, and toughness always makes it exciting. I can't understand how someone can think the Soto fight wasn't very exciting for at least the first half.
