I was going to pick 50/50 but felt that was too easy. I like them both. COuld go either way IMO. Artur's power by a hair is my bet for now.
I'm going 50/50 Glov has that jab/left hook combo which I think would make him favorite for a UD win. Athur has a beastly counter right which could KO Glov at any time. Hope this fight happens soon.
I still give Beterbiev a slight edge in this one. Very close to an even matchup, but I think Beterbiev's pressure wins it for him. I would love to see that fight though!
50/50 fight. The thing is Gvozdyk got rocked already once in his pro fights and it could be used as a nail by THE NAIL. Probably now he bears in mind how the things are working and that he needs to defend himself more esp. vs Beterbiev. If it goes to life and death I would favor Beterbiev cause he fights pretty good on the inside. If this goes to the points it will be close for sure! I don't think that they will face each other cause there is no money in this fight at all. If it happens it would be because of the Russia - Ukraine relationship and it could turn into a blood bath. Both fighters have their chances and it will be interesting to see a fight like this.
Gvozdyk would have a certain advantage on the outside, due to his quick and precise jab and short combos. However, Ithink he is still too open to counters and Beterbiev's good at that. I can see some of those right hands catching Gvozdyk and slowing him down. Once it turns into an exchange Arthur's superior power would soon tell. 65/35 Beterbiev.
I always favour the better technician over the bigger puncher when assessing two pretty equally-matched fighters, as long as the more skilled boxer doesn't suffer that most debilitating of conditions 'khanchin'. Gvozdyk for me...
I know Gonzalez was a sitting duck last night but Man was Gvodzyk impressive. Plus his style is very fan friendly. Can't wait to see him back I need the ring. As for op question I like Gvodzyk over Beterbiev.
