Thursday's edition of On The Grind Radio (ep24) featured former #1 ranked USA super heavyweight amateur, and current HW prospect Travis Kauffman 14(11)-0.

Travis has trained in Chris Arreola and Hasim Rahman's recent camps, and offered a lot of personal insight on the current HW scene...including an altercation with "Samantha" Peter.

Be on the lookout for Kauffman.

    ...hope.

He's actually a very promising young American HW prospect...a KO puncher, with his mind on technical boxing.

There should be a bright future in store for Travis.

How's he been matched so far? First 15 opponents are usually there for the taking for decent prospects so 11 knockouts out of 14 isn't that impressive if they've been 14 bums. But, this is the first I've heard of him, so I'm just speculating naturally.

Look for a step up in class soon...he's already got HBO and Showtime undercards lined up (no opponent yet though).

I wish the kid good luck, but based on what I've seen of our U.S. HWs lately, I'm not optimistic.

I'll be on the lookout for him, but for god sakes he's got to change that nickname if he plans on competing at the world level because Valuev and the Klitschkos ain't exactly "Chocolate Thunder".
