Headgear does both, it absolutely reduces knockouts.

It dissipates the force over a wider area, it prolongs the moment of impact, and greatly reduces the impulse.

Headgear and gloves, all other things being equal, reduce the probability of a knockdown, its basic ****.

 

Pac is in for a surprise.

 

After seeing Diaz go all the way and barely winning against a shot Morales and a journeyman Montana (whatever his name is), I have a hard time believing that Diaz is gonna' give Pac a hard time.. I think Pac will have enough energy in all 12 rounds in this fight.. He'll outwork Diaz and wear him down.. Pac may not get a KO, but I definately see him winning this one clearly..

 

Marquez was never on a survival mission. I don't like it how some boxing fans actually say it like that and believe it at the same time.
