GYM wants Stevenson - Kovalev for November

    Two weeks ago, Yvon Michel, Stevenson's promoter, said that they still think a fight between Kovalev and Stevenson, in the falls, could be possible. He said that he didn't think Ward-Kovalev would be a done deal, considering few things, here and there. Well guess what, I now think it is more possible to see Stevenson against Kovalev than Ward vs Kovalev this fall.

    Well actually this would be a better fight,fight being the operative word here,Ward is not the same guy as he was in the super six,I thought that were obvious but there are plenty who don't see it and think he'll beat Kovalev.

    I'd rather see Ward-Kova now, but if that falls through that'd be a great "replacement".

    They must have seen our Kovalev-Stevenson vs Kovalev-Ward poll yesterday and realized Stevenson is more popular.

    Let's see if they still want it if the Ward fight doesn't happen, because you can shout all you want about wanting the fight when your opponent is tied up/unavailable/rival network/different weightclass. That's like pulling a Lara

    Both the Stevenson side and Kovalev side deserve the blame for this not happening.

    Stevenson will be 39 years old quite soon. It's time to cash him out.

    Whatever he has left will likely be gone in the very near future.

    Tbh Stevenson is probably a bigger threat. A more exciting fight too.
