    Griffith, in his steady rolling, unspectacular mechanic's style, founf the answer to the Gypsy. No surprise, as Griff usually was able to dope out most of his foes.

    i don't think anyone blind in one eye should be allowed to box professionally.
    huge stones and props to him.

    I thought Harris looked kind of interesting, whoever filmed the clip seems to have compiled the highlights of Harris rather than Griffth. Harris looks slightly pudgy and also a bit weary but has some clever moves and you can see that he had potential. Also going 12 rounds with an ATG with only one eye is not bad!

    This was my Pop-Pops favorite boxer (well at least when I was growing up), but unfortunately just before my time.

    I just ordered the book "GYPSY JOE HARRIS- SON OF PHILADELPHIA" has anyone else read this one????
