In the few moments he does show the ring here and there, it appears the shorter man is wailing on his opponent. Guess that means Sosa is doing well...and that would explain González's excited tone, as he's clearly here to support La Maquinita.

 

Not a single tweet about this fight, aside from the one I posted on page one. But yeah, good call by the promoters making this blockbuster event a TWENTY AMERICAN DOLLARS internet pay-per-view instead of going with a free ad-supported platform. Real business geniuses.

 

Wait a minute, hold the ****ing door, are you kidding me...the card promoter is none other than Keenan's own MOM?!

Okay, that does explain the levels of delulu in thinking her son battling for an IBO title would draw money. (for the record, it couldn't even draw close to a full house at this itty-bitty venue - maybe half of the folding chairs around the ring are occupied)

 

...and still! UD for Sosa.

It seems like the correct result judging by Marcelo's reactions and the snippets of action I saw. Apparently the BXNG.TV commentary was very biased in favor of the local Phoenix boxer.
