I'm not sure Team Fury would though, despite Tyson's posturing. Didn't they already reject an offer from Matchroom for Hughie to fight Joshua? :think
Either that or they know the ban is coming so Joshua of course won't take the fight and so from now on they can say they offered him the fight but AJ ducked him. Their motives for this sudden desire for the fight is very transparent you'd have to be an idiot to take this offer seriously.
I would like to see this fight but I would be surprised if it happens, especially in November. I've always said AJ will KO him but Peter says Hughie's chin is fine, if Hughie can avoid getting hit and take the punches he does get hit with, he could win on points. Although that would surprise me even more than the fight actually taking place. I suppose it will set up the Tyson vs AJ fight, it's "revenge" for his cousin and it's not about the money or belts, it's "personal". As long as they start fighting each other. :thumbsup
Is this really necessary? How dare you beat up my light-punching, unqualified cousin? Isn't the fact that Fury was stripped of the IBF belt and Joshua has it, and the fact that they are two of the three best heavyweights right now enough? If not, why not just fight Gary Cornish again? What's the difference?
This. Disgrace of a fight, if true. Joshua is supposed to be a champion, seems that he forgot that part. Hughie is like 21 and can barely stand up and slap at the same time with all his issues. It's not that Joshua has shortage of opponents. Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Wilder, Jennings, Miller, the list is infinite
It won't happen, hughie isnt a big enough name for joshua to fight with it being on US TV i don't think...eddie was just talking. It'l be stiverne
