Watch the Cervantes fight, tell me who do you think would beat him with his jab, speed, defense, and movement?

He was unbelievable in that fight!

Benitez would have comprehensively schooled Chavez.

Mayweather, Whitaker, and I'm not sure how he would have dealt with Pryor's relentless attacking.

I don't think he'd beat every junior welter ever but he was certainly a complete H2H package.

Far too unproven at 140. The weight was probably his peak but beating up Gatti, Corley, and Bruseles doesn't say much about how he'd stack up against the true greats of the weight. Chavez, Whitaker, Pryor, etc.

I loved Benitez...he was sooo damned good...and at his best, he was the GOAT,...though narrowly contested by that other Magic Man from Argentina, Nicolino Locche.

The Curry fight was an anomaly, as El Radar proved in the rematch.

Floyd loses to Whitaker, Benitez, and Pryor at 140.

I rank Benitez 3rd behind Chavez and Carlos Ortiz.

They were too accurate and relentless and at some point there getting to Benitez and slowing him down.

They night have to commit to the body and throw rounds away, they might have to rely on walking through shots, but they will both get the job done over 15 rounds, I'm confident.
