Well Ok I don't know the details, did it give him long term injuries, ie back injuries, or put him out of training for a considerable time?
Yes, but I think the point was that he shouldn't feature in a historic list of bantams when he clearly isn't.
No man. It's just. You think Tyson was seriously hurt by the disintegration of his corner...but you think Pep breaking his back in a near-fatal plane crash and being told he would never walk again in the ****ing 1940's is "just an excuse"
I liked Guzman at super batnam more where he had a punch. He seemed to lost his punching power after he moved up in weight and hand injuries. Russell's handspeed is fantastic. But he is featherweight and Donaire said he struggled gaining weight at super bantam. What's your opinion on Mikey Garcia, PP?
He looked a bit green against Hopkins. Against Tate and Malinga he was essentially the same fighter who beat Toney.
I was asking seriously, not being disingenuous. Did he break his back? He only took 6 months off after the crash I don't think Tyson declined as much as many of his fanboys do, I'm 1 of the few that gives Douglas full credit for his win
Yes, and yet somehow the only thing that's many people remember about the fight is Hopkins being green. Wonder why?
To be fair Narvaez went into a shell and it was one-sided on the scorecards. Although Donaire not being able to stop much smaller outgunned fighter wasn't exactly what most people were expecting to see. Donaire was injured against Vazquez but still i was disappointed with his performance against such a limited fighter. That's 2 unimpressive performances in a row.
Do you think it was hand problems that saw his power dry up? MG looks impressive so far, typical product of the Garcia family, not quite in the other men's company though, I think he wings his shots a bit too Disappointing display that, might be Donaire would struggle with a defensive specialist, as he doesn't cut off the ring that well
