When the fighters were at there absolute peak, this is not based on resume's or how long there reign's lasted for.the fighters at there best h2h.comments pls....
Tyson holmes ali lewis foreman liston louis marciano holyfield frasier there's my list.hahahahaha.go nuts.
I don't see how one fighter could be easily named H2H greatest. I would say Lennox, but every fighter was vulnerable to certain opponents. Lennox would never have lost to Norton, but Ali would likely never have been KO'd cold (although the Cooper fight can shatter that idea somewhat). my top ten: Lennox, Ali, Holmes, young Foreman, Tyson, Louis, Klitschkos, Marciano, Bowe
Peak H2H 1. Muhammad Ali ('65 Patterson to '67 Folley) (8 fights) 2. Mike Tyson ('86 Ribalta to '88 Spinks) (10 fights) 3. Lennox Lewis ('97 McCall II to '00 Tua) (10 fights) 4. Larry Holmes ('78 Shavers I to '82 Cobb) (14 fights) 5. Evander Holyfield ('90 Douglas to '93 Bowe II) (7 fights) 6. Sonny Liston ('59 Dejohn to '60 Machen) (9 fights) 7. Riddick Bowe ('92 Holy to '93 Holy II) (4 fights) 8. George Foreman ('73 Frazier I to '74 Ali) (4 fights) 9. Joe Frazier ('68 Mathis to '71 Ali) (8 fights) 10. Vitali Klitschko ('02 Puritty to '04 Williams) (6 fights) Note on top 10: Doesn't include sub-200lbers, those i know little about (e.g. Louis) or unfilmed fighters. HM (unordered) - Louis ('38 to '42?), Mercer ('95 Holy to '96 Lewis), Ruddock ('89 Bonecrusher to '91 Tyson II), Old Foreman ('90 Cooney to '91 Holy), Tucker ('87 Douglas to '87 Tyson), Tua ('96 Ruiz to '97 Ibeabuchi), Douglas ('89 Berbick to '90 Tyson), Witherspoon ('83 Holmes to '86 Bruno), Bruno ('89 Tyson to '93 Lewis), Ibeabuchi ('97 Tua to '99 Byrd) etc...
Tokyo Douglas was truly a master of his craft that night. Same with FOTC Frazier. Corrie Sanders, Oliver McCall, Max Baer when he fought Primo.
This looks good to me. Although obviously Audley Harrison should have been included, perhaps as a "Super Champion" ahead of Ali.
