£5 bet at 12/1 odds with bet365. couldn't resist the odds. i think tito will outwork jones to a close points decision. I don't think he will have the strength at that weight to ko him. It will probably be controversial with people disputing the decision like the dlh fight. the puerto rican crowd will have an impact on the judging Jones looked made for tito in his last fight. he was being out worked by a very ordinary fighter in henshaw.
The problem is while Jones may have been outworked in patches, ultimatley he beat Henshaw and dumped him on his ass in the process. Tito has been inactive for three years and his last outing was a one sided battering at the hands of a smaller, lighter hitting Wright (compared to Jones who has fought at heavyweight). Trinidad also is fighting at a weight ten pounds north of anything he has before and I question why he has taken this fight. Is it a desire to beat Jones or is it for financial gain - I'm going with the latter. I hope that Lady Gadiver was burning a hole in your pocket because you won't be seeing it again!
its a good bet imo. if TIto wins itll be by decision and therefore you might at well turn 10/3 odds into 5/1. I mean Roy will probably walk into the ring at 185 and i just don't think that Tito can knock out such a big fighter, however at Roy's age, putting on all that weight in such a short period of time could affect him. Personally I put 500$ on Roy at 1/5 and 20$ on Roy by KO from rounds 3-7 at 4/1 I could cover my bet by doing what you did and put 40$ on Tito to win by UD but I'm confident that Roy will win
remenber that hanshaw was also inactive for quite some time and he came back i believe was as middleweight for 2 fights before he fought roy.i believe titos break from boxing was good for him and he will look good tonight
Well after his first break he came back and fought Mayorga ..He was dropped in that fight and then got shut out by the light punching Winky Wright ..Now he's coming off a 3 yr layoff ??:huh I will blame his loss on rust and delusions of grandure !
