Had Conor fought Crawford, Spence or Pac after or instead of Floyd, he'd be stretched in 1-2 rounds

    No doubt about it.

    People are harsh of Fury's performance vs Ngannou and it was awful indeed.

    But Floyd was the one who started that trend - to bring MMA fighters in boxing for easy money. And he clearly underperformed.

    If there was Crawford, Spence, Thurman or Pac instead of Floyd, they would have knocked McGregor out cold inside 2 rounds and there'd be no interest in MMA vs top-boxers since.

    Unfortunately, Floyd carried Conor to 10th and looked pretty bad in doing it, even taking a couple of punches against an unskilled boxing novice.

    Fury tried though, which is more embarrassing.

    Floyd didn't try his best.

    I think there was a stat like Floyd only throwing 12 or so punches for the first 3 rounds

    It was obvious he carried Conor and treated it like sparring

    Floyd was near 40 years old and had regressed from the slick boxer-puncher he once was. Connor was 29 and in his fighting prime at the time. That’s a huge difference and largely why Connor did as well as he did. If Floyd had still been 29, he’d have flattened Connor out early on.

    As far as I’m concerned, a 140 lber would enough to smash Conner into pieces early into the fight. 147 lbers and up like Crawford or Spence is practically murder.

    Floyd is a feather fisted so it took him 10 rounds to KO even a novice connor.
