Had enough with all the Calzaghe hate!

    I hardly ever post on this site, but I do log in twice a day to catch the new and views on boxing, and all I can say for the last two week is where is all this hate for Calzaghe coming from?, its starting to become a joke.

    I'm not saying you have to be a Calzaghe fan (i for one don't rank his performance against Jones as one of his best), but can't you haters give the guy a bit of credit. We fans of Calzaghe don't have that much longer to watch and enjoy Calzaghe fight, so cant you all just sit back for a month or so, and let us support our Joe.

    I for one am sure that if all this uncalculated hate didnt exist, people wouldn't be posting that much proclaiming how great he his 24/7.

    He does still get plenty of credit though, which is good to see. Not disagreeing with you but there will always be the haters im afraid no matter what.

    Some of this crap, haters are coming up with is ridiculous though, people are entitled to there opinion, if they find him boring for example, fair enough, thats there opinion and people should respect that, but when people say stuff like Kessler is just a eurobum, it makes you wonder if they are boxing fans or just trying to provoke stuff?

    I know, its mostly Americans, not all but still mostly, but I didn't think they hated him this bad, i mean when i was in Vegas for the hopkins fight, most of the americans i spoke to kinda liked calzaghe, or at least seemed to respect him?

    To each their own... a lot of fans would disagree.

    I was never a huge fan of Hatton but I found him ok, he was entertaining on a good few occassions but Calzaghe is great to watch....

    For a guy that comes forward, Calzaghe has a good defence, I class him as a terrific boxer, the best in the world right now IMO.

    I agree with the TS... this JC hating has become laughable, all the haters are doing is inviting us JC fans to gloat about that nice performance against RJJ.

    If they had a brain, they would wait a week or 2 until the fight hysteria has died down THEN try to tell us why he isnt so great &.... blah blah blah.... it really amounts to jealousy... a lot of people are going to be heartbroken when/if Calzaghe retires unbeaten. It will be funny as ****.

    Im American and he's 1 of my favorite fighters:good people hate on him because they are jealous, he's rich, successful, and has never lost:deal and retiring with the BIG FAT 0...:lol:
    And i seriously doubt JC gives a flying **** what these keyboard warriors at ESB think about him:****off

    All american fighters are boring.
    They just don't deliver action packed fights, Its bad for the sport, Im glad europe is getting more and more champions, Because america is going down the hill.

    Thats true calzaghe doesn't give a ****, but as a fan, you know when you live and breathe boxing, how much it pisses you off, when people hound the fighter youve loved for the best part of a decade, i mean calzaghe is my personal favourite, and for me it not been like that from the beginning, i mean i was nearly crying as an 11 yr old when Eubank got beat by Joe, Eubank was a guy i'd been watching sat on my dads knee, but over the years especilly after the Mitchell fight Ive begun to respect Calzaghe to the point where he is my all time fave.

    I agree. 2 of the worse offenders are Pacfan and TheGrimReaper,the kind of guys who never leave their bedroom and have to blow their girlfriends up. :-(
