It's physically impossible for Floyd to wide UD any version of Duran. Floyd isn't brave, skilled or athletic enough to do that to a top tier ATG.

Floyd would never fight Duran anyway.

Floyd doesn't adjust well enough, move good enough or work hard enough to UD Duran.

Duran is more dynamic than Floyd

Has a far more complete skillset than Floyd

Is more athletic in different areas than Floyd

Is an equal if not better ring general than Floyd

Has a better/slicker defence than Floyd mid to inside range.

    Is stronger than Floyd

    Hits harder than Floyd

    Is physically tougher than Floyd

Switches from offence to defence and back better than Floyd

Is faster than Floyd in terms of moving his body into positions and creating angles.

Has a better variety of faints and tricks to set up punches than Floyd

    I could go on.

I give Floyd accuracy and single shot hand speed over Duran but that's about it. Floyd's a cautious economical boxer rather as a pure slickster like some fanboys think he is.

Styles makes fights and Duran is all wrong for Mayweather. Please do not bring up Benitez and Ray Leonard because they fight nothing at all like Floyd who when faced with mobile pressure fighters resorts to shelling up on the ropes and pot shooting. No way in hell he gets away with that vs Duran. I could see Whitaker maybe beating Duran because of his eel like elusiveness but not Mayweather.

Firstly go and rewatch Mayflower / JLC 1 again, then imagine a guy 10 times better than the Mexican in EVERY department. That might just give you a clue about what would happen if Duran had decided to maul him at 135.

Secondly, I thought only Kevin was idiotic enough to come out with that frankly moronic claim about Leonard fighting the " wrong fight " he fought the way Duran FORCED him to fight. No bull****, no childish fan boy excuses, Duran put him under the kind of constant pressure he couldn't handle in Montreal.

You're the guy who alleged that Mayweather ducked prime Oscar and Mosley too, right?

So what is a wide UD at 147, about 9 rounds to 3?

Rest assured had their primes and weights crossed with Mayweather's, he certainly would have ducked both.
