Had Floyd not had those reoccurring hand injuries, his ko% would be in the 80-90's.

    80-90% is too high.

he never had 1 punch KO power, but he could break you down with an accumulation of punches. He did have 20 KO's out of 27 fights at SFW, so it's not like he's as featherfisted as some people make him out to be.

That being said, even if he didn't have chronic hand injuries, I think his KO rate would probably hover around 65% or so. At the higher weights when he knows he's well ahead on the scorecards, he usually decides to cruise to a UD. At the lighter weights though, when he had a guy hurt, he would press on the gas and look for the knockout. Offensively, he was terrific to watch between 130-140 lbs.

Not that high.... But I agree, his KO ratio would be higher. Calzaghe used to have good power before his glass hands robbed him of his as well.

Bull Feces Bad hands was just an excuse for punching like a pregnant fairy ROFL Same with Calzaghe they always had an excuse for being feather fisted. If they weren't fit to fight then back out

You know who truly doesn't give a damn about Mayweather Jr KO ratio? Mayweather Jr himself.

His automatic response to anyone pointing to a boxer with a better KO rate then him is likely to be "and how much money did they make in their career?"

Sad thing is most people who dislike him never watched him in those years, I recently watched some of his old fights and looking back he was truly something special.

I completely agree, also well known that most punchers usually have significant hand problems throughout their careers

Would've been close to 100%. It truly disgusts me when I hear of inferior athletes like Tiger, Brady, and Jordan mentioned in the same sentence as Money. The discussion for elite athletes starts and ends with Money first. Nobody else belongs in the sentence. It's insulting.

After that's been established, you can start mentioning the tier 2 athletes. But at the top? It's not even Mount Olympus anymore. It's Mount Money, and the rest of those losers can buy a ticket for admission if they want to visit with Floyd and see what the view is like from the peak.
