Would you still rank Ali #1?

in my opinion frazier did stay competent against one pastprime ali, frazier fought half of the career with 1 eye, he did make ali the ***** in one fight, and ali did want to cut the gloves off, in my opinion frazier did win the third ali fight between frazier.

I think he means Frazier beat himself by hiring Futch who stopped the fight when Ali was going to quit. In other words, Frazier RDT 14

As for the OP. No, I'd rate Louis #1 if that were the case.

ali suck dick. he only beat foreman because of loose ropes, like the loose women he loved so much. foreman was beat by heat only, heat created by clay (thanks il duce for that tip). frazier beat ali in every fight cause ali/clay was a cheater who drank secret juice in between rounds. in third fight, frazier knocked clay out but it counted only as slip. foreman KO'd ali in manilla but frazier couldn't follow up

    frazier KO 57 clay

Very good question. Hard to answer. It would certainly diminish his claim, perhaps enough to make Louis nr. 1. And when you think of how extremely close that fight was...

Well I rate Louis number 1 anyway but this changes Ali's path.

If he loses in Manila, it means he lost the title. So then, what happens next?

Does Frazier retire and Ali try to regain.

Too many variables really to deal with.

    Frazier would certainly rate higher.

as others i rank louis as number 1 , if frazier had got the official win in the third fight he would rank higher and ali would for me rank perhaps lower than number 2 on my list

Yes. Manilla was a big legacy fight for Muhammad and Joe.

How many gift decisions did Ali get prior to 1976 though ? It's the consensus that his legacy bouts ended with Manilla.
