The guy straight up wrote that Calzaghe would totally dominate and possibly stop Hopkins. He said that he would only give Calzaghe credit if he dominated Hopkins and that he would be dissapointed if Hopkins won more than 2 rounds. Now, after Hopkins lost a competitive fight, he's complaining that people aren't giving Calzaghe enough credit.

How does the loser of a close split decision get raped? Oh, let me guess, you're referring to Calzaghe's classless sexual inner ambitions.

This post is even more ridiculous, and I don't even have to go outside of this thread to get it for you.

    1. Calzaghe cleaned his division and unified the titles against an elite fighter.

    2. Calzaghe then jumped and fought the universally #1 ranked LHW.

    3. Mayweather hasn't cleared anything since 135, he's cherry picked his fights 140 and above and continue's to do so. Had he signed to fight a real Welterweight after that 2007 year, nobody would be complaining, instead we get a useless set of rematches against unworthy challengers. The DLH fight was correct to take, but then he moved back down and fought Hatton at 147, which was a useless fight then and will be even more useless in a rematch.

    4. Path of least resistence = Floyd Mayweather.

    5. Calzaghe and Hopkins was a fight that the public actually wanted.

    6. I doubt a useless fight happens next with Calzaghe, if it does, I will be here to criticise.

This is why I generally stay out of the general forum mate.

Imbeciles like this are a hallmark of this place. No point in trying to debate or reason with them.

Actually, he said he would stop him in 8. That being said, he was tough on Joe last night and admitted it wasn't a great performance, which I give him full credit for.

While DavidUK is a confirmed Hopkins hater, he said nothing wrong there, Calzaghe is past his prime. 36 for his style is getting up there.

But it still doesn't excuse that poor performance completely.

Mayweather's not your best topic. Calzaghe usually is, but it seems not so much the case when Mayweather's involved. :think

    TERRIBLE post. Filled with bias.

    Have I given any credit?

I can't recall where I've given any credit outside for making the fight happen and gaining a name win, it wasn't a signature performance or win and I contest that it does little for his all time standing and his current p4p standing.

I need more from Calzaghe to call him an ATG, 2 more young undefeated guns beaten decisively like Kessler was.

    Its relative Amsterdam.

You know full well he isn't as past it as Bernard is, and like normal, he is trying to pass off bull**** like all things are equal here.

    1. Elite fighter ? Hopkins was his first Elite fighter.

    2. #1 LHW who hasnt fought as LHW in two years ? Are you kidin me ? I aint saying BHop is washed up 43 or sth, just stay to the ground.

    3. He is clearing up P4P ranks.
