I hate to say it, but when I picture this fight in my head I see nothing but JT getting crushed badly. The fight ends in the later rounds with Toney, bruised, bloody and thoroughly beaten, lying across the ropes as the referee comes in to save him in a merciful stoppage.

    As most others have said,
    I think he gets decimated.

Wlad would dominate every aspect of the fight, and towards the middle rounds he would be able to start really opening up as he starts being less cautious, realizing Toney doesnt pose much danger for him.

I would expect Wlad to stop Toney around the 10th.

Wlad via a one-sided beating. Toney doesn't win a round. Could end up like Chris Byrd in both his fights against Wlad.

What about that left hook though?? Especially that lead one early 30’s Wlad was still capable of throwing outta nowhere. I think THAT woulda been the main shot he’d catch toney with. Especially as toney leans back in that Philly shell after Wlad’s jab and feints.

He'd have done about as well as Mormeck did.

He did! As much as I dislike toney he could take a shot. But let’s face it.. Peter had more of that clubbing forceful punching power that I would compare more to Foreman (Not quite as hard) that kinda wears on his opponents whereas Wladimir had that nasty, QUICK, sharp, SNAPPY high impact power that shuts lights off in the blink of an eye.

I could definitely envision Wladimir dropping and stopping toney. Kinda similar to the Byrd 2 destruction. Meh.. just my thoughts on it.

I have this problem. I put huge credence in a fighters chin and their heart, two distinctly different attributes, and JT had world class versions of both. However. A fighters chin is solid, impregnable, impervious to power...until it's not. And that's what Wlad brings. He bust James up and then James' chin is not ok...
