Had Pac made his move up the ladder when Cotto had beat Quintana to win his belt and challenged all the opponents he beat already in that paticular time how many does he beat?? I dont belive he beats Cotto, I dont belive he beats Margarito, He prob beats Oscar at 147 but the have a competitive fight at 152 or what ever catch weight he had w Margarito, as for Clottey..... well Clottey always manages to blow it in his big fights. Any thots? Although he is doing great things how many hungry challenging opponents has he faced. Cotto was thee most solid opponent and they had a a competitive first couple of rounds.

he beats them all at any point, only prime oscar at 147 would be difficult.

Sorry i couldn't resist. I think the style match ups simply favor the Pacman, he beats every form of the mentioned fighters.

I disagree. and if so WHY ask cotto for a 145 catch weight when he agrees to fight Marg above that catch weight. Marquez and Cotto are his most legit fights and Cotto would give em a run around the time he beat judah and quintana.......... **** even mosley.

Does he also beat Martinez???? is that why hes not taking the fight? To easy eh?? and I aint no May fan. I was a pac fan until he decided to fight Mosley and Roach started oppening his mouth about seeing Margs last to fights implying he looked like **** so its time to move in. And not fighting mosley two mosley fights ago but now that he looks like **** facing him. I hope it backfires cus sum of these pacatards are as anoying ass $May fans.

because oscar was obviously not like they expected at 147 after that he want back to 140 to face hatton.
When they decided to move up it was his first real test at welter in one of the best guys there miguel cotto, pac could barely make 147 and they made the fight at 145 so the matchup would be more competitive. in everyone opinion it was a close to 50/50 fight, when pac blew him away it proved he was capable of fighting at welter, after that there were no more catchweights at welter.
Pac is a bad style match up for cotto, I like cotto but thsi fight wasnt close then I coul agree with you he was just outmatched based on skills that it.

That is not what i said at all. I just think he matches up well against their respective styles. Does he beat Martinez? Who knows, I wouldn't put any money on it though.....too close for comfort. I do like Manny, but like you, I am losing patience with his management.

pac was fresh off from the lower weights at that time and only had one fight which turned out to be easy against dela hoya at 147. he steamrolled hatton but it was at 140. so nobody knew at that time if pac could handle the big dogs at 147. if the version of pac that defeated cotto, clottey, and margo were to fight these same fighters at an earlier time at welterweight, i'd still give pac the edge.
