** Had the chance to meet Winky Wright!!**

    Yesterday, a rare co incidence, in an airport I ran into Winly Wright!!

    One of my favorite fighter with a stylistict element tha was hard to decipher!!

    Extremely cordial, got a chance to discuss boxing, I mentioned I bekeive his ultimate fight was against TITO, when he displayed all of his defensive and offensive skills... He agreed that was a special victory...talk Bout Shane, Vargas., the draw etc....

    Discussed PBF v Pacquiao, he favor PBF, but expect to be e plosives from the get go...but he expect an anything go type of fight!

    He looks good solid and in shape!! Got the Winky smile going!!

    I cleArly enjoyed the encounter!!

    Lets remember, Tito was a huge favorite going in against him.

    And he absolutely schooled Trinidad.

    I mentioned, I was expecting a Tito to win, but he proofed me wrong...he mentioned he study Tito's style and was very comfortable all thru the fight...and yes it was class in session match!

    Cool story bro.

    Winky was an OK fighter but boring as fukk, and got waaaaaayyyyy too many gifts.

    That said, still cool to talk boxing with a good fighter.

    Got a chance to meet JLC back in 92-93.

    He broke 2 of my ribs with the best body protection available at the time.

    And I had about 3 inches and 15 lbs on him. :lol::lol::lol:

    Saw winkky fight live once against soliman ....was pretty cool met Gary sheffield, jeff lacy and probably one of the best mcs ever big daddy Kane .....fight kinda stunk but apparently wonky said he was very sick and his camp wanted him to cancel but he didn't wanna back out on short notice ....but wonky always been a fave

    Yeah, I bullied him for about 40 seconds. :good

    Then he threw a slow, lead R hand, I covered and he drilled me with a double L hook.

    I couldnt breathe for a week. :lol::lol::lol:

    I understand, I had the chance to spar with a number of grest boxers when I was training at Vonzell a Johnson gym:happy

    :happy Good stuff, those body shots hurt enough when a novice hits ya in the right spot, let alone a legend who was famous for bodypunching and knows exactly where the vitals are. :scaredas::barf

    What gifts are you talking about?

    If anything he was in the wrong end of some ****ty decisions in his career.

    And i dont agree that he was boring.Aagainst the right opponents he could be pretty good to watch his fights against Vargas, Mosley,Soliman,Simon,Taylor,Vazquez,Quartey were all good fights.
