Boxing is barely recognizable because to many fighters pass on testing themselves, the best fighting the best is what draws the fans. That's why the UFC got so popular for years, because even their stars fought other stars, and for a long time loses didn't matter to the fans. Sadly that is starting to not be the case anymore, the protect the 0/loses = bum brigade of fans have found their way into that fanbase as well. And now they have champions that set out healthy holding the belt hostage, while looking for "super fights" & not wanting to fight the #1 contenders.

 

Like I said, Sergey gave Mikey a tough night.

I think Mikey did well against a very good boxer in Lipinets. He got hit more than he probably should have but that’s because Lipinets was punching with him every chance he got and Because Mikey doesn’t have a lot of head movement. He’s still top 10 p4p in my opinion. It was a very good performance and win for Mikey.

 

Fact is, if the man can take the shots, then he can just take the shots. Mikey was tagging him in god we trust but he was handling it. Can't blame Mikey for that.
