Mikey never lost control of the fight, while Lipnets came prepared and put in a very good performance. I think this was a good win for Mikey.
garcia beats everyone 140 and below, including loma, he loses to spence at 147 and i make him even odds vs crawford and thurman. he needs a fight vs danny garcia to build a demand for a title shot at 147, he would probably lose, but theres no shame in losing to an A level fighter in your 5th weight class.
Orlando Salido is infinitely more creditable a scalp than Adrien Broner. Although, I would grant you, the circumstances of that victory weren't the best.
Garcia got hit way too much by a fighter who only had 13 pro fights! Lomachenko will out box Garcia, that's why that fight will not happen...............
He is another Roman Gonzalez in the making... once he loses, his fanbase will stop at the Thousand Oaks treeline borderline
Yup when that south american who only landed headbutts, elbows and the laces of his gloves on loma and left him marked up some posters on here took it as loma having 'bad skin' or being easy to hit. Some guy rearranges Garcia's face and theirs no cause for concern
Not sure he should have been top 5 anyway but to drop his position after winning a fight seems a bit weird to me. It was closer than we expected but Lipinets boxed better than I expected him to be able to. He upset Mikey's rhythm a lot and looked very durable. I think it's a win that over time will age very well. That said, I don't think Mikey is at his best at this weight
I saw Mikey winning the fight clearly against a very game Lipinets. Good fight! I liked both fighters display.
