Oh for sure the double standards with these type of fans is unreal lol and you try pointing it out to em and it’s clear they have no idea how hypocritical they come across.
I recently read some posts on YouTube re Mikey pound for pound status based on his victories over Broner and Lipinets.
Lomo has the better resume by far and all they’ve got these haters is that Salido who came in as Welterweight in only Lomos second fight, roughed up Lomo and beat him.since then rather than going backwards Lomo just keeps upping the stakes with world title fight after another and when he beats Linares(as I think he will)his resume will look very good.

Final point re PFP,as we all know collecting belts isn’t as hard as it once was so when Crawford has everything go his way to become undisputed whilst it’s still a great achievement I’d rather look into who they fought as appose to what they won,I’d also read that Mikey Garcia had he stayed with Arum could of fought Gamboa and possibly those that Crawford beat to become undisputed?
It’s a toss up between Lomo and Crawford at the mo and those two this year will show who’s PFP King,Mikey Garcia deserves to be on the list I think but as a top ten guy and not top five imo.

I think the type of guys you are mentioning are beyond help lol.
I personally don't care much for p4p lists but id totally agree Crawford and loma would be near the top.
Id ala have the winner of usyk gassiev very high, along with GGG.

Yes and that surprised me cause of the way he was knocking folk out at 135,just shows as Paulie M always says that 5lbs in boxing is a lot of weight to make up,so used to seeing folk hop through the divisions now that when you see Mikey Garcia struggling to knock folk out at 140 it surprises us.
Crawfords a bit different as he was a true weight bully and had no cause to be down there other than to make it look easy.

Yeah they are, totally unsubjective so when I goes on YouTube on a channel that loves Canelo and hates GGG I point out to him about why he has to believe Canelo is innocent of juicing and that as a fan of GGG I’ve no problems with the fact that in his pomp he could well of been juicing himself and that it doesn’t bother me one bit.
Corrupt judges and awful scorecards in all of Canelos fights doesn’t bother em nor does the A side bs and him being a juicer and a weight bully,it’s all fine so long as Canelo gets the win which is just BS and I’ll say now that if GGG won through Judges, corruption ect I wouldn’t want to acknowledge the win.

Totally agree The winner f Usyk v Gassiev deserves to be up there on skill and who they’ve both beat.
Does PFP not apply to Heavyweights, seem to remember box rec having Wlad on their list but surely as they are HWs and therefore at the top and don’t need to make weight doesn’t that mean PFP doesn’t apply?

Poor ungrateful peasant move by Garcia there, he misread the Floyd Mayweather-Pacman politics

Exactly. I don't know what some posters are disappointed about. Lipinets shouldn't be dismissed so quickly.

Yes not sure what the cards were but Mikey still dominated and let’s have it right this is boxing and the other guy is well within his rights to hit you back lol.
Only the Floyd psy op planted the thought in folks minds that boxing is about not getting hit, what a crock of **** cause the Floyd at 130 was a killer as appose to the Floyd who spent time on the ropes.
Mikey Garcia may not look the flash PFP star but he keeps winning so has to be on the list.

Lol you tell em Blizzy it’s like folk don’t realise the levels to this game, quite simply it’s scary the difference between these top pros and genuine club fighters.
There’s a Floyd vid that show this perfectly,Floyd had a security guy who kept on asking for a go at sparring so Floyd in his own words finds someone who’s very green to put in the ring with the security guy who by the way is a bigger man than the green opponent.
Cut the story short the green boxer knocks the security guy down and bloodies his nose whilst wearing the headgear.
Just shows that anyone with a modicum of boxing skill can beat someone with none every time.

The moral of this story is that to call a guy like Lipinets a club fighter or a bum is deeply disrespectful both to Lipinets and Mikey Garcia who being levels above can compete above his used to weight class on account of his skill, same goes for Crawford and Lomo they have to go up in weight just to find competitive fights, give em credit not crap.

I didn't say he was a bum, he's a club fighter that converted from kickboxing. And he was putting it on mikey.

Broner, Lipinets, and that power puncher Garcia beat at 135 are comparatively better than any of the 130 pounders Lomachenko faced, as far as talent and ability. Why the double standard?

I have tremendous respect for Garcia. He is willing to fight tough opposition. Guys like Canelo say they will fight anyone while Garcia actually does it. Lipinets was no pushover. He was a tough, hard-hitting champion. All credit to Garcia but I think it would be unwise to move up to 147. His frame is not that big. The only thing that would keep him in fights at 147 is his superior technique.

What double standard? GRJ, Walters, Rigo are far better wins than anything Garcia has. Loma’s performance against Martinez was better than Garcia’s. I might be in the minority but I’d prefer to be Loma against Salido than Garcia against Salido. Most importantly Lomachenko has looked far more dominant and impressive against everyone he has fought.
Lomachenko has had trouble getting opponents to fight him, that’s why he has moved up. Garcia has had trouble getting himself to fight anyone, that’s why he has moved up and fought non-threats like Broner and Lipinets (and lost rounds, looked ordinary in those fights). Lomachenko is going to fight Linares, someone Garcia talked about fighting before refusing the fight when it was made available to him.

Is this a joke post? Avoiding tough opposition is what Garcia has come to be known for.

Mikey has no business fighting over 135lbs.
