Had to sleep and miss the fight, but I'm shocked. A foreigner got a UD against a Mexican in Vegas. Wow. I didn't think it was possible for a European, Asian or African fighter to win a decision in Vegas against a Mexican opponent.
Bayliss did everything he could for Ramirez. Giving him 40 second counts on both knockdowns was quite simply the act of a man who'd been paid off.
I'm not that bothered about the counts, those things are normal these days and for all that it felt manufactured, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt - and although Bayless was acting weird about docking Taylor, he didn't actually dock him. But Taylor has said he wanted to dock him "for talking" which is weird. The whole thing was more weird than genuinely dodgy IMO though; I mean Arum is complaining about how much holding Taylor got away with.
