Had Ward went up to 175, it would have been as much of a disadvantage as Dawson 168

Fact is: Ward was called out at 168 and no amount of B.S or spinning will change that irrefutable fact.

    He simply accepted the challenge.

I say that had Ward went up to 75, it would have been as much of a disadvantage as Dawson coming down to Ward's weight class.

Dawson was not completely ideal, but he was at least 90-95%. He was just schooled, and that's that. :yep

Um, no. Not even ballpark. Ward has been on record saying he would like to go to 175, for years.

Nope. He said he would move up when his body had no choice.

2012, he was still a firm 168, nowhere near 175.

He would have been bloated up. :hi:

So you're saying Ward will be at big disadvantage at 175, similar to Dawson at 168?

No, it's one thing to drain and completely weaken yourself and another to just fight slightly bigger opponents, it's not even close.

And this isn't even about Ward, just in general.

He made it rather easily actually, so there's really no big excuse.

He was the one who called Ward out at 68.

He used to fight at 68 anyways.

    No complaining.

So MVC! just created this thread to repeatedly tell people his opinion on the matter.

Some of you guys make me wonder what exactly you do all day other than troll/create these threads.

So Ward would be at 95% at 175? Seems enough to beat Kovalev no? Or you have no faith in Ward?

It would probably be worse for Mr.Ward actually, his body just ain't accustomed to meet 175. Dawson's fought at 68 b4 so his body remembers that weight.

Ward has never fought at 75 in the pro ranks. :yep

So Dawson's and Ward's situations are completely different?
Dawson is ok at 168 and 'got schooled' but Ward at 175 would be a disaster? So why even bother comparing them if they are different?

It's similar but Ward's situation would actually be worse off now that I think about it again. :nod

Who cares whether he called him out or not, facts are that he was drained and was never the same fighter afterwards... And being drained is far worse than being at the peak of your condition fighting slightly bigger opponents, this is not arguable.

I'm not sure why I'm replying seriously to this, I know for certainty you are trolling.
