Had Ward went up to 175, it would have been as much of a disadvantage as Dawson 168

Dawson was extremely weight drained, how would be Ward be at as much as a disadvantage as Dawson was? His body would be fine. You are a clown.

That's what I tried to tell him, fight at LHW, Kov comes in at 175, Ward at 168, let's get it on!

They can both come in at 175, Ward normally weighs more than 168, he actually weights around 180 and dehydrates to 168 like most fighters do, Kovalev is a bit up and down, AFAIK he's been as low as 184 and as high as 190 for his last fight.

So yeah, Kovalev is for sure a slightly naturally bigger dude.

 

All true. And Chad has no cause for complaint. Doesn't mean that onlookers have to have the same restraints. Calling it what it was, Ward beat the bejeezus out of him and made him quit. Ward hets credit for whooping a world class opponent. Dawson was clearly weight drained so the win doesn't hold the same value as it would were Chad at his best.

Ignoring the fact that this trolling is almost too obvious to be funny ('making' 175 'healthily':rofl), whatever extra weight Dawson would have had on him in the ring @ 175 is not equivalent to the extra weight Dawson lost as a disadvantage. Not to any sane minded person

 

What he's actually saying is that since Dawson fought at 168, going back down for the big fight was a good decision.
He simply was not good enough on the night, and losing the extra 7 lbs Wasnt as bad as Ward detractors claim.
Dawson was NOT a poullo and he made the best fight possible.

Perhaps WARD should have the huevos to do as Dawson did and call out GGG at 160.
