Lara little feather fisted bum has nothing for ggg. He's not even in the same weight class. He's not canelo he doesn't need to bring little guys up to look like a monster.

I'm not saying GGG should love middleweight, but the comparison isn't really a valid one, as 168 didn't even really exist during Hagler's career, and a jump from 160 to 175 is a pretty steep jump. Hopkins did it successfully even when there was a 168, but the point stands.

Zoo has alot of question marks to his career, his resume isn't great, got KTFO against a crack head didn't avenge it and quit. Instead of daring to be great he stayed in a dead division like GGG instead of moving up and facing ATG fighters like Oscar, Mosley or Tito. His legacy is questioned and rightfully so. I can see GGG's career ending in a similar fashion to Zoo's, average resume never dared to be great and when your past your prime end up quitting on your stool the similarities are uncanny.:yep

This whole thing about Golovkin fighting above middleweight was started by Golovkin's own trainer Lupe Saurez.
"We're calling anyone out from 154 to 168!"

If Suarez just kept his big mouth shut the whole issue of Golovkin ducking Ward and letting Golovkin step down to 155 lbs to fight Canelo would be a non-issue.

Lupe Suarez and his big mouth ego has become somewhat of a problem as far as Golovkin and fights being able to be made in that camp.
When your big mouth is always open, you leave behind a trail of **** for others to run with and interpret.

For most of Hagler's career there was no super middleweight division. So the jump to light heavy wasn't in the cards for him. His big fights seemed to come from fighters willing to go up in weight to face him.

Plus in those days the "newer" weight classes like junior middle or super welter belts were not held in as high regard. Middle weight fights commanded more money.

I also think the economics of the sport have changed dramatically since Hagler's days.

I have to son you in another thread. Zoo-PBF wasn't possible quit saying that like PBF ducked him when people like me who followed the sport back then actually know better. The fight could not have happened quit spreading this lie. PBF was with HBO and Zoo was with Showtime a cross promotion PPV wasn't warranted at that time as neither guy was big enough, it couldn't happen. But like a broken record when in doubt blame PBF despite the fact he had no control of the situation.

But what is fact is, PBF unlike Zoo didn't hide out in a dead division in 140 and not fight big names. He dared to be great he moved up to fight big names and big fights. The 140 pound division the only division he wasn't lineal in this isn't by chance. It's because Hatton turned him down at 140 and every other division he fought in PBF beat the man 130, 135, 147 and 154.:deal

That and willing to fight JCC Jr and Froch at 168 but for Ward at 164 and willing to fight PBF at 154 but Canelo not at 155. He has no one to blame but himself.

    How did you son me?

Never once have I claimed Tszyu was the greater fighter or had the better resume than Tszyu.

What I have said and is true that he was a better fighter or better win than anyone at 140 or 147 when Floyd moved up.

Floyd fought Corley, Gatti and Brussels. Non where top 5 fighters so Floyd went into this alleged dead division which at the time was one of the hottest in boxing and basically fought the fighters with least resistance.

Dead division but Floyd doesn't attempt to fight any top fighters. Get your head out of FLoyd's ****.
