First off, Hagler is my 2nd favorite fighter ever, so accuse me of bias, no problem. Fact is, he wanted to be known as the greatest middleweight ever. He didn't get 1st shot at the Middleweight title until his 50th fight. Ponder that for a minute. After he won it in his 52nd or 53rd fight(I just dont remember which), he had 12 defenses, just 2 behind Monzon s then record and was the UNDISPUTED MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION for many years. Think about that for a minute. There was NO REASON FOR HIM TO MOVE UP. None. Now on to GGG. He wants to be the UNDISPUTED middleweight champ, which I totally respect and admire. If any of the present middleweight champions besides GGG (including my present favorite Daniel Jacobs) grew a pair and fought GGG,none of us would be even having this conversation, Ffs.

Hes not a big name which means a low payday, hes got an awkward style that makes for a boring fight.If brook was to fight golovkin its ppv in the uk and it would do well which means a big payday.

I wouldn't mind the lara fight, it would be interesting to see how he deals with him compared to canelo (which i thought was a draw). But apart from that it would probably be a dull negative fight
