Best fights of the decade from the 70s onwards IMO are.....

    70s - Ali v Frazier 3
    80s - Chacon v Boza-Edwards 2
    90s - Chavez v Taylor 1
00s - Morales v Barrera 1 (best fight ever, watch this **** immediately)

It was basically a one round fight, It was still great but I can think of better fights like: Benn vs McClellan, Morales vs Barerra I, Gatti vs Ward I

I don't think there can ever be the one "best fight ever"

There are so many different ways how a fight can be great. Ali - Foreman was one absolute masterpiece of winning a fight by gameplan and mindgames, but it was somewhat dull. Hagler - Hearns was a super - hyped, action packed fight showing unbelievable heart, but Hearns didn't really fight that smart. Also, Hagler - Hearns got some of its mystique from the media attention that equally exciting battles usually don't have.

A terrific fight with a hellish crowd and one last great performance from Gomez. Although how the ref thought Arthur could continue after the 2nd knockdown is beyond me, guess that goes with being Warren's rising star at that time.

Great fight with arguably the best round ever but not close to being the best fight ever(top 50 for me).

True, I enjoyed all of them but the 1st one was by FAR the best, it was a war to end all wars, the 2nd was a great technical boxing match that showed just how versatile both men were at their best, the 3rd was actually a good mixture of both bouts, a bit more exciting than the 2nd but not as exciting as the 3rd.

Amazing trilogy that Morales never lost on my cards.

    :good

80s - Alex Arguello vs Aaron Pryor I
90s - Humberto Gonzalez vs Michael Carbajal I
00s - Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morales I
