The only similarity regarding these two fights are that they were both clearcut verdicts IMO. Not robberies or anything, far from it infact. I had Calzaghe three rounds up on Hopkins by the final bell, and a slighty wider margin for Leonard against Hagler (both Calzaghe and Leonard were the 'aggressors' in their respective contests, they were the ones willing to make things happen more than the opponent).
