Being honest mate I have always scored the fight to Hagler....

....But I can clearly understand why some give it to Sugar.

    It was a close fight.

I felt Joe beat Hopkins by 3 rounds, but there were a lot of rounds where I thought Joe knicked it. Hence I can completely understand why some had B-hop winning a close fight even if I don't agree.

This is another one of the many fights where people love to call it a robbery when in reality it was a close fight!

i agree. it was a damn close fight either way. likely 7-5 on either side. 8-4 for leonard or hagler is hard to justify but i'll be honest, even though i scored it for leonard i find it more easier to score 8-4 for hagler. if you're criteria is quality of punches and aggression, you can POSSIBLY make a case for 8 rounds to hagler. however, even if you are scoring on ring generalship and combination punching , you can score 7 for leonard but it would be really tough to give him 8.

I believe I had it like 8-4 Leonard (I wanted Hagler to win).

Not me. I'm the wrong guy. Don't try and tell that to soxfan either.

I can understand why some people give it to Sugar too. They don't score body punches, at all, for any fight, don't understand the concept, listen to commentary as if what they're hearing is what is actually taking place, and think that flurries and flashy moves means you're doing something, after getting pounded for two and half minutes.

Word for word I pretty much totally agree with you.

Does that mean you scored the Froch / Dirrel fight to Froch?

As this is a fight where I thought Froch's punches to the body were totslly ignored!

For the record not having a pop, genuinly interested!

I never took the time to go back and score Froch/Dirrell, but I had Froch winning on a live viewing. A proper scoring could yield a different result, but to be honest I don't feel Dirrell earned my consideration. He certainly hasn't earned my interest.

7-5 Leonard. Hagler is my all time favorite fighter to watch and it pains me to say that he lost but he did. Gave away too many rounds.
