    Hearns desperately wanted a rematch and was almost definitely about to get one before SRL came back onto the scene. The Hagler - Mugabi/Hearns - Schuler double header was supposed to be a prelude to the rematch. Hearns was actually offered a bonus to get Schuler out of there fast in order to sell the rematch better.

    Hearn's broke his hand in round 2.

    He had no choice but to try and move and use the jab, it was not enough.
