Golovkin may not necessarily win, but he would make it competitive and his punching power could sway the fight in his favor

 

I believe Hagler gets the best of him at 168 . We might see both fighters hit the canvas .

No disrespect to Kovalev because I respect the animal that he is .

 

And hagler had a longer reach even though kovalev would be 4 or 5 inches taller.
I think hagler would be too small. Pit up against a 168lber.

 

Kovalev would be a walking zombie if he drained down to 168. No way he beats Hagler.

At 175 i think he would beat Hagler , but not drained down at SMW. He's a big LHW and could make Cruiser.

Smaller by a couple of weights at least three if we are being honest but hagler is more proven and a great . It would be an old days big man gets beaten by the smaller great fighter

as others have said it was same day weight in Marvins fight days, their fight night weights are probably 20lbs + apart.
