Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Mugabi, any one of those gents is capable of beating Trip G. Haglers resume is harder than anything Trip G has faced, let alone the Marvelous One. Not saying he won't get there but at this moment, it ludicrous.
And if GGG had fought during Hagler time I highly doubt he would have the same KO percentage he has today .. It would have been much lower.
Agree. But theres no denyng hes a beast. MM is tough and doesnt get stopped early, nor bloddied up. Well he did aftr fighting GGG Why ae you hating on him so much bro? Hes no Hagler yet, but hes one of the only emerging stars we got in boxing
This, and some of your other posts :good Of course old retired fighters are overrated vs current one. The bias is downright embarrassing about HWs since that div. is unlimited and past HWs would be closer to CWs than todays HWs. You can reasonably compare LW v LW, MW v MW, etc. Hagler struggled w/Duran & SRL. I'm a huge Duran fan and he's an ATG, but the guy was a natural WW (fmr LW) when he fought Hagler. Hagler is a great MW, and GGG clearly seems to be on his way. I think it would be a very competitive fight. Btw, in the 70s/80s Hagler would never have had to face a GGG or anyone like him :think It's a new era in boxing with WORLD comp. It's not the 20th century (to early 90s) anymore, where US boxers dominated. Some fans are having a hard time adjust ing to it
I actually like him as a fighter, Im disliking these idiots that promoted him to god status, and how Ward and everyone at 168 is shaking in there boots at the mention of GGG. let him prove himself at 160 before we crown him the man at 160 and 168.. Author Abraham looked a lot like GGG 7 years ago , until he moved up to 168 now look at him.
And people think some people are "hating" on GGG just because we recognize how ridiculous it is to compare him to fighters like Hagler at 160 or Hearns at 154. Some funny shlt up in here.
