Sorry, but Joe Naps gets waxed by Hagler in 8 rds or less... Naps is not Roberto Duran of 1983 at a trained 156 1/2 pounds with capable power at 160... Hagler all the way over Naps... MR.BILL
Jose wouldn't be able to stun Hagler and didn't have greyhound legs to escape Marvin's onslaught. Not a pretty bout with Marvin battering Jose to defeat
Hagler in around 6 rounds on cuts. Napoles makes a grand stand but Hagler, like Monzon, is just too strong for him.
Napoles did not share Duran's cut resistance. Ideally, we don't speculate on cuts determining the outcome of a fantasy match, but bleeding is sometimes so pervasive an element of a given boxer's career that overlooking it strains practical credulity. Of course there is the glaring exception, like Minter-Antuofermo I (where the lack of blood was more shocking than the expected gore), or Ali-Wepner. However, the combination of Mantequilla's skin and Marv's jab makes any other outcome than a stoppage on cuts rather spurious. Butter versus hot knife? I'll take the knife. (Frankly, Jose is one ATG WW I like Arguello's chances against for this reason. Napoles certainly had deadly power, but El Flaco Explosive was so proficient at carving people up. Arguello's height and reach wouldn't have been a small thing either.)
