hagler vs kalambay

    now i have seen a thread a while back somewhere that was asking what if herol graham had fought hagler instead of leonard in 87. well lets just take graham out injured say and replace him with kalambay

    so its hagler vs kalambay over 15 rounds in may/june 87 and its in italy as the fight may well of been the better sell in italy at the time .remember that italy was at the time exceedingly hard to get decision's against home fighters.

    I answered the poll thinking it was prime Hagler.

    Well, if its 1987 Hagler, Kalambay had a better than average chance of pulling it off. He could box well, whereas Hagler was pretty much finished at this time.

    Yeah Kalambay would have a nice chance at this stage of Hagler's career.

    I'd give him a nice chance against the Hagler that was somewhat befuddled by Duran as well.
