Yeah, I know they're different weights but here us out. Hagler fought when weigh ins were on he day on the fight and even then he was still a pretty small middleweight. If he was around today I have no doubt he could cut down at least 10 pounds of water. So let's say Floyd of the Canelo fight vs Hagler from the early 80s at a catchweight of 150, set for twelve.
Hagler beats seven shades of **** outta Mayweather. Knowing this, Mayweather does his usually ducking act, probably retires and needs new pants for himself when Hagler asks him for a fight in person.
Nothing in FM's offensive arsenal bothers Hagler. Hag walks him down, keeps FM running until he catches him and ends the fight. Hagler had great stamina as well. No puttering out in the second half of the fight.
Hagler by KO. Mayweather has a very slim chance to outpoint Hagler, but he has to run through the ring all night. But it's not a fair fight, cause Hagler is bigger.
Weightclasses exist for a reason. I'm pretty sure Mayweather could beat a crappy middleweight. But when you turn the dial up to 11 and pitch him against legends two weightclasses up from 147 which he was already kinda small for, he's going to got massacred.
Damn, you are fast Not sure, but say if they fight at 150, I figured it would mean 150 on fight night and that sounds too little for Hagler. I reckoned he would be drained while Floyd would be at a comfortable weight, so I gave it to Floyd; both being excellent boxers, but one being drained and the other one being close to his natural weight I might overestimate the natural weight of Hagler, who knows
ROFLMAO !! Mayweather fight Hagler ?????? Jeez look what happened when Margarito walked up & asked him "Why wont you fight me "? What would he do if it was Marvin standing there???
Floyd Snr, Roger & FMJ could all glove up and enter the ring for a 3 on 1 and Hagler would still win by brutally butchering the whole family.
