McClellan instead of Hearns how does it go?
Hagler is great but I think Gerald could pull off the upset he had immense firepower and a good chin I think he could possibly crack Hagler's granite chin and stop him but if it goes more than 8rds i favor hagler

    Hagler by decision.

He's too versatile for Gerald and can take his punches.

Oranges and apples...Hagler wouldn't have to fight McClellan the same way he fought Hearns...McClellan isn't outboxing Hagler, like Hearns was capable of...Hagler could sharp shoot Gerald on the way in and take a clear decision or a late stop.

Hagler a class above G-Man. McClellan has some success in the early rds but they don't worry Marvin's granite chin. Hagler late KO.

G - man can and does shake up Hagler in the first round. In the second it's another rough round for Hagler. But marvin starts getting his more precise punches in by the third. By the 6 th Hagler s blasting his way through any thing coming his way. Come the 8 th McClellan s on spaggeti legs, Hagler is pounding him in to the ropes. A Hagler right puts him through the ropes. Fight over

Gerald has major success in the first 3 rounds, but Hagler's jab, defense, counters, and smart body punches become too much. Hagler methodically breaks him down and G- man is losing his snap. Hagler sweeps the last half of the fight and dominates the last four rounds being 9-12 and gets a wide decision. In the scenario of a 15 round fight he can stop McClellan. The only thing stopping Gerald I believe would be brain damage or Hagler in round 14.

Hagler was such a complete boxer. It's hard for me to pick against him, especially if that pick has to do with somebody beating him by KO.

Hagler by late stoppage. Maybe 10th. Granite chin and relentless....he's all wrong for McClellan.

Hagler would take McClellan apart in a very one sided fight.

Hagler went well against tall opponents. Obelmejas and Hearns. So McCellan height no
worry for MH. G Mac would try to blast Hagler out. Big mistake as Hearns , Minter and
Roldan found out . However if Roldan could rock Hagler then so could G Mac.
Hagler was durable and would counter G Mac with hard jabs and hooks. Would be a
exciting bout and G Mac would probably open a ugly gash on skin scar tissued Hagler.
This would meant Hagler would roar back and stop a exhausted G Mac in 8 rds.

Hagler would likely outbox McClellan. I'd pick Hagler to stop him late. He might shake off some hard shots to do so, but he's be clearly ahead when he stops G-Man

Don't see this as an easy time for Hagler at all. He'd get as hurt as Marvin gets hurt, and more than once. G Man had good skills and power. He's not crumbling like Hearns when tagged, he'll be there longer, and a good chance the distance. I see Hagler respecting him, like he did Duran, and proceed to outbox him

I personally believe McClellan was vastly overrated. Hagler had a massive wingspan for a not tall guy and his southpaw jab would discombobule Gerald all day long. Hagler s biggest nemesis was slick cuties and Gerald clearly wasn't one one those. Plus Marvin had been blasted by big punches across his career. Gerald gets exposed in this one.
