Both in top form, with Hagler at whatever weight he wants. Who wins?

inring weights like 170 to 185?

moorer is bigger than the lhws around todauy

actually he grew bigger. he was young who grew into cruiser then hw.

the top lhws today are strong and mature at the weight.

hagler is an average sized mw. moorer a big lhw.

moorer would drop him and probably stop him.

I started a thread a while back and most folks thought that Hagler would lose to guys like Jerry Martin and James Scott, from what I remember.

In my mind's eye...it's still impossible to envision Hagler fighting at light heavy against a huge Michael Moorer...I've always thought however that Toney would have been capable of beating Moorer by decision...for what that's worth.

Moorer would have wrecked him. Hagler's the better fighter, but he's way to small to fight this future heavyweight champ.

My God...a smallish middleweight against a big, powerpunching light-heavyweight.
I can see the fairness here...

hagler was nearly a natural super welter he was in shape at 156 pounds, no ****ing way he would be a mw today, michael moorer was skin and bone at 175 , he was a natural full sized cruiser. moorer would extract the head of hagler with a jab

In fairness, we have matchups everyday on here where posters swear that 175-190 lb heavyweights would obviously destroy talented fighters 50-60 lbs bigger than them.

Moorer's southpaw style neutralizes Hagler's southpaw style. From that point on the bigger guy begins to dominate.

Moorer by decision in 12. (or Hagler "retires" late on advice of his corner)
