Hagler would have destroyed Golovkin

Ive seen a lot of fandom over the years but Golovkin apologists take the cake. Hagler would definitely stop Golovkin inside the distance. Hagler was a complete fighter, he could do it all people forget about his early years when he was a boxer. Golvkin looks crude at times, chit tonight he looked like Provodnikov in there

 

Hagler could have stopped GG IMO by outlasting him and wearing him down, ala the Mugabi fight. It would be late rounds with GGG on his feet as Hagler was never a really concussive puncher and GGG does have a great chin. It's much more likely though that it goes the distance with Hagler winning a close decision. Hagler would not 'destroy' him though.

 

Unless you've been watching boxing since the 70s, you're lying. Cuz I was born in the 70s. lol And I find it hard to believe someone in their 50s would even entertain that GGG could beat Hagler, so try again

Really don't like the comparisons with previous era fighters. But would like to note that judging GGG against Hagler looking on a fight with Brook is funny. Personally that would be a very competitive fight.

 

GGG is garbage. He's garbage fighting even worse competition. This is why he ducked Ward. Ward would have toyed with him and eventually knocked him out. I can't believe people actually thought he would beat Ward lol. He sucks. I tell you this, That fight with Alvarez will happen sooner than we thought haha. De la Hoya can't wait to make it happen now. He'll probably give GGG a larger portion of the purse just to get him in the ring

 

You couldn't beat hagler by coming to him. And GGG is not SRL or Duran with movement. How else would GGG have fought Hagler other than the way he's fought all of his other fights?

No Hagler would have stood no chance, GGG let Brook hit him and stepped off the gas on purpose. If you had all put on your GGG fanboy rose tinted glasses, it would be obviously clear that GGG is the best middleweight ever. He hides his amazing defense by letting people hit him, because he is that good.

History, can you feel it, we have a champ in the middleweight division, the other divisions need to follow suit, and find a king to represent their division. Middle aint like welter where small can jump up, even the gate keepers are dangerous, let alone the king of the ring.
