A video I made to highlight wasn't typically a face fisted brawler. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLUDlCzEPy4[/ame]
I always felt that Hagler at his best was the greatest MW champion of them all. He could box, brawl, give and take a punch and had the will and determination of a true champion. He was a H2H beast.
A very good boxer. Very sound and basic. But he had that edge, that fire, could bite his mouth piece and abandon a technical match when he wasn't getting the better of it. Very good boxer, great brawler, very good switch-hitter, and he mixed those together wonderfully.
My thoughts on this can be summed up by Bronson and Montgomery: This content is protected In other words...I approve.
Thanks for that, I've tossed around the idea of doing a similar video for awhile just to shut up people who've never seen anything but the Hearns and Mugabi fights and insist that they know that Hagler was just a crude brawler.
