Nobody here can tell me Hagler dosen't look exacly like the Java man skull shape... And then explain to me why he is one of the only people that dosen't have the normal skull shape of people today instead he has the exact one of the HOMO ERECTUS JAVA MAN that walked on earth 750,000 years ago, go ahead id like to see this explanation by you so far youve passed off what ive said but havnt given your reason for not believing it...

Yes Marvin Hagler could take a punch, no doubt...He had but 67 fights in his entire career...A Harry Greb went about 290 bouts in his career ,MANY against lightheavies, and heavyweights without ever being stopped. That is FOUR times the amount of fights
than Hagler ever had...Or about 223 more fights Greb had without facing a ko.
The great forgotten Welterweight Jack Britton had about 338 FIGHTS without being
stopped in a 26 year career and never suffered a ko, so please don't give the tough Marvin Hagler, superhuman chinlike qualities as a Greb, a Britton, or a Jake LaMotta
had as good a set of whiskers as Hagler dig...All 3 were bonafide tough guys alonbgst with Marvin...

Did Greb face a shot harder than the one Thomas Hearns hit him with?
And Greb actually had a very very big brow ridge as well....

yeah, gotta love burt's ability to squeeze "Jack Britton had 338 fights without being KO'd " into the thread.

Hagler might have been a missing link caveman wild man throwback neolithic cro-magnon neanderthal homo erection, and tough to boot, I don't doubt, but Jack Dempsey had 'the speed of a welterweight' and was a marvel to all those who set eyes on him in 1918-19 the likes of which WILL NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN ... in the words of Nat Turner, Tina Arcel, Bonnie Langford, and all those countless EXPERTS who saw him in the flesh ... cheers

    Love ya, burt

How many times have the words homo erectus java man been uttered in this thread? A record I'd say.

U, I am not well versed on ancient man going back to Cro- Magnon days,
so rather than be passive on this thread I tried to bring a sense or proportion to the subject of Marvin Hagler's" iron "set of whiskers...
Having some KY lubricant left in the tube I decided to "squeeze" in the name of Jack Britton...A worthy name is Jack Britton and his set of whiskers . I should think.
I shall slink back into my cave, resting for tonight's club bashing...
As a senior citizen whose blood type has been discontinued it is my time for my afternoon siesta...:hi:and cheers to U ...

Sometimes "levity" is the right answer to an unanswerable thread I should think...

    :rofl

    Okay, burt.

By the way, did you ever see Jimmy Crow Macgnon fight Neal Anderthal at the Eastern Parkway Arena back in '49 ?
They were a couple of ancient clubfighters, no fancy dans, you could say primitive skills. They knew how to pack a hall though, it was a mammoth event.
